The
exhibition in the EIG
EURIDICE demonstration hall in Mol provides clear information
about Research & Development into the technical feasibility of disposing
of radioactive waste in deep clay layers. It presents ongoing studies
and trials devoted to this disposal concept.
The
exhibition includes large photos, sketches, plans, models and various
prototypes, such as the remote control robot used to position the waste
drums in the underground galleries. There is also a presentation on the
HADES underground laboratory, where experiments are conducted in a deep
geological clay layer.

The
exhibition is set up in Mol, Belgium, in the large hall next to the
second access shaft.

Practical
information for visitors
Group
visits are possible.
Visits are free, but should be booked in advance.
Visitors to the exhibition must be at least 18 years of age.
